A young man was a victim of a road accident while returning home from a wedding ceremony in Bettiah, Bihar. He died on the spot in this accident. This incident took place on Sainik Road of Balua located at Chhedi Chowk in Bagaha Police District. The deceased has been identified as Munna Mahato (45), son of Devnarayan Mahato, a resident of Govardhan police station area. At the same time, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot for hours after the incident. The family members are in a bad state after the incident and are crying.
According to the information, the car which went out of control and hit the youth is said to be that of a Mukhiya. It is being alleged that the Mukhiya is trying to cover up the matter. However, as soon as the information of the incident was received, the police immediately reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to the sub-divisional hospital Bagaha for post-mortem.
The deceased’s son Akshay Kumar alleged that the car of Pramod Oraon, the Mukhiya of Laxmipur Dholbajwa Panchayat, crushed my father to death. Now the Mukhiya is trying to cover up the matter by using his influence. Meanwhile, after this accident, angry people protested fiercely. Police station in-charge Anil Kumar, who reached the spot, said that the body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. The car has not been seized yet. The car is being identified.
